Lead Software Engineer
Lead Engineer at Solera, a global leader in data and software services, will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software applications using C# and React.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable systems, integrating large‑language models into products.
- Leverage AI tools such as Copilot and automation platforms to enhance product capabilities and engineering efficiency.
- Develop and maintain web applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core/Framework).
- Develop and optimize database solutions using MS‑SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces with React.js.
- Write robust unit tests using frameworks such as xUnit or Jest.
- Implement CI/CD using Jenkins and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and full‑stack best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6 to 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with product‑based companies, contributing to development, enhancement, and scaling of high‑quality products.
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET 8+, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
- Expertise in React.js, TypeScript, Redux, and Next.js.
- Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), and RESTful API development.
- Experience with unit testing (xUnit, Jest) and integrated testing.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
LLM Skills & AI Tools
- Hands‑on experience building AI agents with Large Language Models, including Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and model tuning.
- Experience with AI‑driven development tools, intelligent code assistance, and workflow automation (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
Bonus Skills
- Experience with GraphQL, WebSocket, or SignalR.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Blazor or Angular.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
- Experience developing complex application and system architectures, queues such as RabbitMQ, SQS.
- Hands‑on with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or on‑prem data centers.
