Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across multiple enterprise cloud applications. This role combines hands‑on software development with technical leadership responsibilities and will serve as a key resource for engineering teams delivering modern AWS‑based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and implementation efforts.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to software engineers.
- Develop and enhance enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with architects on solution implementation.
- Review requirements and estimate development effort.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support development teams.
- Participate in new project planning and execution.
- Drive best practices across multiple applications.
The hourly pay rate is $55-70/hr and based on experience.

Skills and Requirements
- 8-10+ years of fullstack software engineering experience
- Experience building applications (React/NodeJS) and deploying them in AWS
- Experience building applications in AWS with cloud native technologies
- Extensive AWS cloud experience including: AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, AWS CDK, AWS SAM
- Experience as a technical lead/ability to guide junior engineers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills -.NET experience to be able to support existing legacy apps
