Role and responsibilities
Looking for a hands-on technical leader to manage and mentor the VOD (Video on Demand) engineering team. This role blends leadership and deep engineering expertise to help scale our video delivery infrastructure and internal processes.
Why this role exists :
There is currently no experienced manager in place — the team needs a strong technical anchor who can provide structure, drive engineering best practices, and represent the VOD function across the organization.
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience building or scaling VOD systems or video streaming platforms
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to guide teams through code quality, architecture, and agile execution
What success looks like (First 3–6 Months)
- Implement and standardize a code review and quality process
- Improve sprint planning and delivery consistency
- Identify skill gaps and begin upskilling/growing the team
