The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across software and infrastructure teams and work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base.Essential Functions:Build modern, responsive, intuitive front-end solutions using current web frameworks and best practices.Apply software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, automated testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.Deploy and maintain applications in AWS, ensuring scalability, security, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.Support containerized deployments using Docker and, where applicable, Kubernetes.Engage with customers daily to refine requirements and improve application functionality.Prepare and brief technical designs, implementation plans, roadmaps, and documentation.Produce and maintain technical documentation for system design, application architecture, deployment procedures, and sustainment activities.Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, or other relational/non-relational data stores.Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.Security+ Certification or any DoD IAT Level II Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of accepting position.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
