We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to support the migration of a Loan Origination System from mainframe COBOL to a modern AWS microservices architecture.
This role requires deep backend development expertise, strong DevOps capabilities, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment across multiple hub locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform with a strong focus on DevOps automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration from legacy systems to cloud-native architecture.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Maintain high standards of code quality and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to drive technical decisions and project progress.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in TypeScript and Node.js for backend development.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proven ability to create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions.
- Experience in migrating legacy systems to cloud-based microservices architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Angular for frontend development.
- Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.
