Lead Software Engineer AI4TECH

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• We value hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We need working knowledge of backend development, including Python and Java.
• We need practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud platforms, especially Terraform and AWS services such as EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, and Secrets Manager.
• We require experience administering GitHub Copilot Business or Enterprise, including seat management, policy setup, content exclusions, and audit logging.
• We require experience creating Copilot custom instructions, skills, and agent modes to standardize AI behavior across teams.
• We need experience with Claude Code and Anthropic API integration, including prompt design, agent workflows, MCP server configuration, and token usage management.
• We require experience building Claude Code hooks for automated code validation, security scanning, and workflow enforcement.
• We value understanding of LLM-based developer tools, including context management, RAG patterns, and responsible AI guardrails.
• We need experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks such as Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• We value familiarity with containerization and cloud-native platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and serverless architectures.
• We need working knowledge of agile methods, application resiliency, and security.
• We require practical cloud-native experience and understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• We administer and scale GitHub Copilot and Claude Code platforms across the enterprise, including user provisioning, policy enforcement, and usage analytics.
• We develop and maintain custom Copilot Skills and Agent configurations to capture domain knowledge and team workflows.
• We design and provision cloud infrastructure with Terraform and AWS services, with a focus on reliability and compliance.
• We build internal tools, automation pipelines, and self-service portals to support adoption of AI developer tools.
• We write secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We create reporting dashboards and metrics pipelines to measure AI tool usage, productivity impact, and cost optimization.
• We identify opportunities to remove or automate remediation of recurring issues to strengthen operational stability.
• We provide technical guidance and support to development teams onboarding to AI coding assistants.
• We engage with communities of practice across Software Engineering to learn about and adopt emerging technologies.
