To support a growing Data Engineering team, the full-time Lead Snowflake DBA will oversee the administration of the Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring optimal performance and security while collaborating with stakeholders to meet data requirements in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Manage the performance, security, and reliability of the Snowflake data warehouse Design and implement data management policies to ensure data security and accessibility Lead data migration projects and provide technical mentorship to junior team members Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum of 5 years of DBA experience, with at least 2 years focused on Snowflake Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and techniques Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration with Snowflake Expertise in managing Snowflake security, roles, and access policies
