Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Server who is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong commitment to long-term employment (at least one year). This role requires someone who is proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to the success of our team. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, highly communicative, and a natural salesperson who can upsell menu items and create an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly attitude
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into Toast POS
• Be a strong salesperson by upselling menu items, specials, and add-ons to enhance guest experience
• Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions with confidence
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests
• Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Complete a daily checklist of tasks to maintain efficiency
• Utilize team communication tools, including WhatsApp group chats, to stay updated
• Work with digital programs such as Toast POS, OpenTable reservations, WhatsApp chat sessions, and any additional software introduced
• Take initiative in problem-solving and contribute ideas to improve service operations
• Demonstrate a long-term commitment to growing with KÖY Grill

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong sales skills and the ability to upsell effectively
• Commitment to long-term employment (at least one year)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Comfortable using digital tools and programs, including Toast POS, OpenTable, and WhatsApp
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays with food and drinks
• Must have flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
