DD Mau Vietnamese Eatery is seeking a friendly Restaurant Cashier/Server who can deliver excellent customer service while memorizing our menu items. DD Mau is a quick serve style restaurant where customers order off the menu at the cashier. The Restaurant Cashier/Server will be responsible for taking food orders from customers, packing/serving the proper meals customers order and helping the customer with any questions. If you have previous experience as a Server in a popular restaurant and a dedication to providing excellent service to customers, we want to hear from you.
Restaurant Line Server responsibilities:
- Take customers’ food and drink orders
- Upsell customers on specials
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and made for each customer in a timely manner
- Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
- Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
- Confirm orders with any food allergies and restrictions
- Assist with keeping line, dining, and kitchen areas cleanPrep line items
- Check out customers and ensure the right change is given
- Restaurant Server skills
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2+ years’ restaurant experience preferred
- Must be able to work on your feet up to 8 hours
- Strong customer service skills required
- Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus
- Ensure that items are restocked, and the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
Pay includes Tip.
