Security Technician
We are seeking experienced Security Technicians with 3-5 years of experience supporting commercial and industrial security systems throughout North and Northeast New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, program, service, and troubleshoot Access Control Systems
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Intrusion Detection Systems
- Install, configure, and service CCTV and IP Video Surveillance Systems
- Install electronic door hardware, locking systems, and related devices
- Run, terminate, label, test, and certify low-voltage cabling
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience installing and servicing electronic security systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Video Surveillance Systems
- Experience working with IP-based security platforms and network-connected devices
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel throughout the North/Northeast New Jersey area
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Certification
- BICSI Certification
- Manufacturer certifications in access control, intrusion, or video surveillance systems
- Experience supporting commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or enterprise security environments
