Lead Security Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the creation, improvement and education of security policies, procedures, standards, and practices .
• Leading the implementation, management, and monitoring of core security infrastructure .
• Leading the detection, mitigation and resolution of security vulnerabilities .
• Driving the efforts to obtain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification.
• Collaborating with both tech and non-tech teams to integrate security controls and procedures into their workflow.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of professional security related experience.
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity and cloud security, specifically within the context of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
• Experience with SOC 2 audit procedure and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Ability to communicate network, platform, and data security issues to peers and management
• Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
