To ensure timely and efficient patient appointment scheduling for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), the fully remote Lead Scheduling Specialist will manage delivery coordination, service requests, and customer communication while serving as a subject matter expert and mentor for the team. Key responsibilities Schedule and coordinate appointments for DME, PAP, and oxygen equipment, considering patient needs and technician availability Manage urgent requests and prioritize scheduling for critical patient needs, including emergency deliveries and equipment replacements Maintain accurate scheduling records and generate performance reports for management review Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred One year of work-related experience required, with additional experience preferred for higher levels Knowledge of healthcare scheduling best practices and patient care coordination Advanced proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
