A leading organization is seeking an experienced Lead SAP FICO Consultant to serve as a key liaison among Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and Technology teams.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on SAP professional who can translate complex business requirements into practical solutions, lead functional configuration, and support business-critical financial processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP FI/CO solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation
  • Support GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, and technical teams
  • Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with developers on enhancements and reports
  • Develop RICEFW specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows
  • Manage enhancements, production issues, system upgrades, and process improvements
  • Support quarter-end and year-end financial close activities
  • Maintain financial-data accuracy and assist with audit and compliance requirements
  • Create test cases, process documentation, and end-user training materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • At least seven (7) years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience
  • Strong functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger
  • Experience integrating FI/CO with SAP MM, SD, or other modules
  • Experience developing functional specifications and working closely with technical teams
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications used in finance processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to Have experience:

  • SAP S/4HANA implementation or support
  • Rights-management systems or SAP IPM
  • SAP BW and BPC integrations
  • Media, entertainment, or another rights-driven industry

This position requires onsite attendance five days per week in Los Angeles, California. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
