Are you the installer other people count on to get the job done right?
John Owens Services is looking for a true Residential Lead HVAC Installer — someone who can lead a job, teach an assistant, follow the plan, and finish installs on time without excuses.
This is not a position for someone who “kind of knows installs.” We need someone who can confidently install residential HVAC systems, communicate clearly, keep the job moving, and represent the company professionally in a customer’s home.
What You’ll Do
- Lead residential HVAC installation jobs from start to finish
- Install systems correctly, cleanly, and according to company standards
- Train and guide your install assistant throughout the day
- Complete jobs on schedule without cutting corners
- Follow company procedures, checklists, and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management
- Take pride in clean work, clean job sites, and doing things the right way
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who is:
- Confident leading an install crew
- Experienced in residential HVAC installation (Mini Splits, Heat Pumps, Mitsubishi etc.)
- Able to teach and hold an assistant accountable
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Strong at problem‑solving in the field
- Willing to follow company systems and processes
- Focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
What We’re Not Looking For
We are not looking for someone who overstates their experience, avoids responsibility, refuses to follow procedures, or needs constant supervision to complete a job. If your resume says you can lead installs, we expect you to be able to prove it in the field.
Why Join John Owens Services?
We are looking for long-term team members who take pride in their craft. You’ll have support, organized procedures, and the opportunity to be part of a company that values quality work, accountability, and professionalism.
