Assists the Director of Nursing to ensure effective coordination, work processes and clear communication with the site providers and medical assistants (MA).Additional duties include, but not limited to:1. Works collaboratively with site operational and clinical leaders and other leadership to ensure an efficient workflow.2. Communicate & coordinate changes in workflow or services to the medical assistants and the providers.3. Ensures initial and ongoing competency for MAs. Manages training records for the MAs. Collaborates with other Lead RNs across the agency to implement these trainings and competencies.4. Ensures documentation of patient visits in accordance with policies, procedures, and clinical protocols same date of service.5. Manages the medication system at the site, ensuring staff administer & document medication treatment appropriately.6. Educate MAs and other team members to help them understand psychiatric and medical conditions as well as medication side effects.7. Serves as point person for the site MA staff regarding clinical operational matters specific to scope of work.8. Communicates potential barriers to quality care identified and collaborates with the Director of Nursing in finding solutions to overcoming these barriers.9. Clinically and administratively supervises all employed and contract MAs working at their site. This includes interviewing, orientation, disciplining and collaborative action plans and performing performance reviews and being available for clinical consultation and support.10. Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening, and positive interactions. Strong understanding of substance use, addiction, and recovery principles. Knowledge of chronic conditions experienced by those with serious mental illness preferred.Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, electronic medical record, NextGen preferredMust have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policyMust have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.Must pass a TB Test and Drug ScreenBackground Check
