Center Point ISD is accepting applications for a Lead RBT.
Registered Behavior Technicians work with individuals that have a diagnosed need for behavioral therapy and/or social skills support. Examples include patients with mental health and social disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and others.
A registered behavior technician supports and implements a student behavior support plan. They provide ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors so students can build and improve upon their communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills. The goal is for the student to transfer these skills across time and settings to develop into a successful member of the community.
The Lead RBT will be responsible for drawing upon their experience in the field to educate and train staff on professional skills as well as student behavior support protocols. The Lead RBT will serve as the facilitator for the behavior support team by facilitating communication among all team members, leading team meetings as needed, managing and disseminating student data, and ensuring that all team members have the necessary support, training, and materials to assist the student in reaching their full potential.

Responsibilities and Duties of a Lead RBT
* Providing direct student care in one-on-one and group settings
* Following the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols
* Assisting with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition
* Assisting in the preparation of student materials
* Collaborating with teachers to create a successful token reinforcement system
* Providing training/consultative services for aides, teachers, other RBTs, and parents on behavioral and skill acquisition protocols
* Responding to crisis situations with students
* Creating RBT schedules as needed
* Developing a healthy rapport with students that may include role-playing, empathic training, social stories, etc.
* Assist in the development of student behavior support plans
* Provide positive and constructive feedback to staff regarding implementation of plans on a regular basis
* Facilitate communication and collaboration between all members of the team including RBTs, parents, teachers, administrators, and BCBA
* Facilitate day to day operations of the team by ensuring that all necessary paperwork, materials, scheduling, and documentation are up to date
* Update and maintain data collection systems and disseminate information to team
* Various other responsibilities and duties
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
* Ability to effectively deliver constructive feedback to staff
* Ability to train staff to fluency on various protocols and treatment techniques using verbal and written explanation, modeling, guided practice and review of independent performance
* Accepts constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skills accordingly
* Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with students, co-workers, supervisors and community members
* Ability to adhere to organizational policies and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

* Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
