Lead React Next.js Developer

This pivotal role involves leading the architecture and delivery of highly scalable and performant React JS and Next.js eCommerce experiences. The successful candidate will be a hands-on front-end leader, combining deep expertise in front-end engineering, micro frontend strategy, and technical governance with strong stakeholder collaboration and production ownership. This position also entails leading distributed development teams, ensuring a disciplined approach to quality, performance, accessibility, and production stability for enterprise-level solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end React JS and Next.js front-end delivery for enterprise eCommerce capabilities.
• Define application architecture, component strategy, micro frontend approach, engineering standards, and performance practices.
• Govern code quality and mentor developers while ensuring security, accessibility, testability, and release readiness.
• Partner with Product, UX, Backend, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Resolve complex UI and integration issues, support production stability, and advance automation and responsible AI-assisted development adoption.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Redux / Context API, reusable component architecture, design systems, and micro frontend patterns.
• Strong background in Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices integration, and eCommerce applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, source-control and release practices, performance optimization, security, and accessibility.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, effective stakeholder communication, mentoring, code-review governance, and issue ownership.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional and onshore/offshore teams across Product, UX, Backend, DevOps, and business units.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in front-end development and architecture.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure OpenAI for testing and code-review practices.
