Lead Project EngineerThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) - Phantom Works organization is seeking a talented Lead Project Engineer to join the Signature Integrity Software Team in Berkeley, MO as a Team Lead.Signature Integrity is the ability to manufacture and maintain to an electro physics signature performance, evaluate defects, and provide signature status through signature management systems. A successful member of this team will lead project alignment and development of a system for production and champion integration into other digital systems and IT infrastructure.Position Responsibilities:Provides project leadership to a software development team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customersWorks with customers and management to obtain approvals, develop implementation strategies, plans, and coordinates with the Signature Integrity Lead.Participates in and responds to requirement changes from a Configuration Control Board, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedulesLeads project to complete the work statementIdentify performance metrics, plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the projectDefines plans for risk mitigation and opportunityCompares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learnedProvides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plansWorks under minimal directionThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
