This role will be responsible for both leading large proposals and pursuits as well as executing programs.
The Program Manager will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs while achieving key business results and customer satisfaction. The Program Manager will also be responsible for communication within and outside of L3Harris to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts. Additionally, the PM will develop strategies for capturing key pursuits, lead proposal development activities, and serve as the primary customer interface for program activities and reviews.Essential Functions:Communicate effectively within and outside of L3Harris, including with strategic partners in industry and governmentConduct briefings for senior leaders and customersLead and manage through all phases from planning to execution and deliveryOversee program scope, schedule, budget, and performance through effective planning, monitoring, and controlPartner with Business Development on key pursuits for the business area and lead proposal development efforts through negotiations and contract award.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and subcontractorsPrepare and present comprehensive status reports covering risks, opportunities, schedule, financials, contract activity, and technical performanceEnsure compliance with internal policy, contractual requirements, applicable regulations, and industry standardsProvide leadership to a cross functional program team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performanceManage program risks and opportunities by developing, implementing, and tracking mitigation strategiesAbility to obtain a US Top Secret clearanceAbility to travel 20%Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 9 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years prior experience.
