Lead Product Manager - Gift RegistryLocation: San Francisco, CALong term contract - Hybrid RoleExperience: Gift RegistryResponsibilities:Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needsDevelops high level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.Possesses broad knowledge of technical design specifications and works with technology peers to help develop solutionsNegotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business and IT from initial requirements to final implementationPossess and may share subject-matter expertise or in-depth technical knowledge, uses expertise to further development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective waysMay provide tactical work direction to team membersExcellent knowledge of product management best practices, functional design and application delivery methodology6–8 years of experience in product management, preferably with gifting domain knowledge from similar ecommerce brands - Even aggregators of registry (i.e. Babylist, Zola) would be interestingProven ability to define and execute product strategy and roadmap for complex, omnichannel experiences (digital, mobile, and in-store).Strong expertise in customer journey mapping and experience optimization, with a focus on engagement, conversion, and retention.Hands-on experience with data-driven decision-making, including analytics, A/B testing, and KPI tracking for product performance.Experience working in cross-functional environments, partnering with engineering, marketing, merchandising, store operations, and customer care.
