Lead Product Designer at Collective (full-stack IC) to own Accounting & Payroll and translate complex financial workflows into clear, trustworthy, fast product experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build deep understanding of customers’ needs, business objectives, and industry context to shape and deliver paradigm-changing experiences
- Set a high bar for visual polish and intuitive interaction patterns
- Define customer and business problems, exploring broad-to-narrow solution paths through thoughtful design
- Ideate, design, launch, and continuously improve products that advance Collective’s mission
- Partner with a cross-functional product development team (product managers, engineers, designers, operations, sales & marketing) to ship innovative, well-crafted experiences at scale
- Optimize for execution velocity while preserving quality through informed tradeoffs between design decisions and available resources
- Help grow and refine a robust design system
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer
- Track record of measurable impact on product strategy and customer experience, preferably in fintech or consumer tech
- Strong UX and visual design skills, including visual design, UI/UX, copy writing, and systems design
- Experience delivering high-quality, visually polished work with simple, intuitive design patterns
- Ability to turn complex problems into simple, engaging solutions
- Solid grasp of end-to-end design work, from identifying customer needs and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Use consumer insights and metrics to guide design decisions and influence the product roadmap
- Systems thinking skills to connect details across the full customer journey

Compensation
- USD 175,000 - 230,000 per year
