Engineer for Water Filtration Membrane Production
Job Description
Veolia is currently searching for an experienced engineer to support the production of water filtration membranes. The production of water purification membranes is a growing business which addresses the ever increasing need for water. We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineer to support our membrane manufacturing facility. Duties & Responsibilities
Strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop process engineers on the team
Provide engineering support for the operation of multiple production lines, including day to day troubleshooting, performance tracking, etc.
Own the value stream(s) creation and updates within your respective scope
Collaborate and effectively interface with manufacturing, R&D, quality, maintenance, sales, marketing, and other internal and external support teams to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget
Collect and analyze data to drive improvements that improve safety, quality, cost, and productivity
Create and update bill of materials, routings, and new part numbers
Drive process improvements by identifying, developing, and leading continuous improvement projects to meet key production metrics
Strong and robust technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment/production issues – mechanical, chemical, electrical, controls
Develop, write, and review new process documentation
Potential for on call or extended hours support
Aid in the ideation and implementation for the shift towards digitization
Lead in the ideation and roll out of small to large capital projects
Responsible for training and developing process engineers across the plant
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain
Experience with manufacturing of water filtration products
Experience in process control
Green Belt Certified
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
Strong organizational skills
Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects
Strong project and team leadership

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $103,000-125,000 USD Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Starting Day 1!
