Lead Plumber Opportunity at Z Plumberz of Shreveport
We're a locally owned plumbing company backed by a national brand, and we're looking for a motivated, experienced Lead Plumber to join our team. We seek dependable professionals who are ready to lead with skill, integrity, and efficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial plumbing issues
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations (water heaters, pipe systems, fixtures, etc.)
- Lead and mentor apprentices on job sites
- Communicate clearly with customers, providing estimates and explaining recommended services
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Complete detailed job notes and photos using mobile software
- Occasionally assist with job materials, scheduling coordination, and follow-up
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Louisiana Journeyman or Master Plumber License (required)
- 3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Clean, professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Ability to supervise and train apprentice plumbers
- Experience using Housecall Pro or similar field service software is preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or crawlspaces
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability
