Lead PersonMartin Marietta is seeking a Lead Person to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for communicating standards of excellence in the daily work assignments of assigned team in order to meet safe production as outlined by Management.
The Lead person will communicate standards through stated goals, daily interactions, team meetings, providing input on employee performance evaluations, and recommending disciplinary actions. This position requires travel from the quarry to other locations.Lemon Springs QuarrySanford, North CarolinaHours: 4PM - 4AMA typical day for a Lead Person may include:Performing standard office duties, plant duties, equipment repairs and operates mobile equipmentEstablishing and maintaining effective communications within all areas of operationPerforming regular inspections for safety, housekeeping and mechanical issues in all areas of the operationImplementing and applying all safety rules, regulations and procedures of mine and property as set forth by federal, state, and local agencies and policies, as well as company guidelines and safety standardsWorking closely with the Sr. Team Coordinator and Production Supervisor to insure implementation of scheduled maintenance on all equipmentCompleting annual performance evaluations on team membersParticipating on plant safety committeeWorking with the Plant Manager, Production Supervisor, and Sr.
