Join our dynamic team today and find a rewarding career with a company that values you and all you bring to the table.About Your Role:As a Lead Payroll Associate at Dollar Tree's corporate office, you'll be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the timely and accurate pay processing operations of a multi-state payroll department. You'll assist in training junior payroll associates and provide support with specialized payroll areas.

You'll perform duties of Payroll Supervisor in his/her absence. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Accurately processes all facets of payroll for management companies and assists with store processing including time adjustments, entries, bonus and special payments within required timeframesProcesses weekly and biweekly payroll to include run sheet activity, transmission of payroll files to ADP and banking institutions ensuring validation and accuracy through utilization of queriesProvides support and assists in training of more junior payroll associatesProvides support to garnishment and tax specialty areasAssist the Payroll Supervisor and Manager with special projectsSecondary Job ResponsibilitiesAny other tasks the associate might perform during his/her work schedule.Processes employment verifications when necessaryProvides documentation/research on payroll data when requiredProcesses direct deposit entries for employeesYour Required Skills and Experience:Multi-state payroll processing experienceGood communication and customer service skillsStrong organizational skills3-5 years payroll experienceAbility to handle confidential information discreetlyKnowledge of Microsoft office productsPreferred Requirements:Payroll certification (CPP or FPC)Start Rate = $55,000 to $64,500 based on experience plus 5% bonusThe company offers Health, Dental, & Vision, a flexible spending account, life and disability insurance benefits, a 401k plan, PTO, paid holidays annually, and an employee stock purchase plan.Full time 500 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320 Payroll Dollar Tree
