Virtual Safety Observer – Observation Lead
Position Summary
The Observation Lead is re s ponsible for providing shift leadership to the observation team.
Ess ential Functions
Provides leadership, mentoring, and serves as a re s ource to the Virtual Safety Observer (VSO) Team.
Facilitate and coordinate staffing during shift to include all b re aks.
Determine patient assignments based on acuity and skill mix and adjust as needed throughout the shift.
Re ceive VSO notifications confirming completion of the audiovisual check for initiation of Continuous Virtual Monitoring (CVM) and notification of CVM discontinuation by the Re g i ste re d Nurse.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent p re fer re d
Minimum of six-months as a VSO p re fer re d
Technical p roficiency of computer softwa re applications
