Lead Packaging Operator 3rdThe Lead Packaging Operator ensures RSB packaging equipment and processes run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all work instructions. This role serves as the primary technical resource, supporting machine setup, parameter adjustments, and process flow while working in an assigned position and floating as needed.Primary Duties and AccountabilitiesEnsure machines are properly set up with correct tooling, materials, and recipes before or during production.Work in assigned position while floating to support all packaging areas as needed.Ensure completion of First Piece and Last Piece inspections and maintain product quality.Adjust and optimize machine parameters to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.Communicate machine status, issues, and corrective actions clearly to team membersEnsure safe operation of equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.Strong understanding of packaging equipment (Algus, RF, Hang Tag, Tube, Shrink Wrap, Label Process)Ability to adjust machine parameters and optimize performanceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and leadership on the floorKnowledge of FIFO, quality checks, and work standards
