Lead OperatorWe are seeking a Lead Operator to oversee evening production activities across printing, prepress, graphics, and mailing operations. This individual will serve as a working lead who can coordinate workflows, support team members, troubleshoot production issues, and help ensure seamless execution across departments.The ideal candidate brings a combination of production leadership, technical aptitude, and operational flexibility within a print, mail, graphics, or manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day leadership for evening production operationsMonitor schedules, production progress, and staffing needs across departmentsCoordinate work between printing, graphics, prepress, and mailing teamsIdentify and resolve workflow bottlenecks and production challengesEnsure projects transition smoothly between shiftsSupport team productivity and quality standardsAssist with technical troubleshooting when neededPreferred QualificationsExperience in print production, graphics, mailing, prepress, or related manufacturing environmentsWorking knowledge of: Adobe InDesignAdobe Acrobat ProDigital print technologiesMail production workflowsFamiliarity with platforms such as PlanetPress, OL Connect, Inspire, or similar composition/mail softwareLeadership, supervisory, or team coordination experienceStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work across multiple production disciplinesNice-to-Have SkillsMac and Windows technical support experienceVariable data printing knowledgeMailing and postal workflow experienceLarge-format production experience
