Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Lead MRI Technologist, you will be accountable for assisting the Director in planning and directing of all CT services or other activities as assigned to them. You will perform, and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Imaging department.   • Perform MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examinations to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge.
  • Work with the Director as Performance Improvement Coordinator, oversee and compile results of performance improvement studies.
  • Perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision, and the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.
  • Responsible for advanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment, examinations and working with students, staff teaching MRI technology.
  • Responsible for the assessment; treatment/care for all patients, which includes ability to interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
  • 3 years experience required.
