Lead Middleware Infrastructure EngineerWe are seeking a Lead Middleware Infrastructure Engineer to support the Web Middleware Technology Team in designing, deploying, automating, and maintaining enterprise middleware infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in middleware administration, infrastructure automation, containerization, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and SSL certificate lifecycle management.Primary responsibilities include:Support the Web Middleware Technology Team in onboarding new applications using Chef and CI/CD pipelines and work on lifecycle management of SSL certificates.Assist the development team in repairing the applications for ToClientat issues.Design, develop, and deploy applications by utilizing Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab within a robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.Orchestrate the seamless installation and configuration of middleware software systems for smooth integration and operation.Leverage OpenShift to containerize applications, enabling easy movement across different environments and efficient scaling as needed.Utilize AWS Cloud Services to efficiently manage and support various aspects of the organization's infrastructure.Perform lifecycle management of SSL certificates, including creation, renewal, retention, and revocation.Ensure the application of necessary security patches to servers to safeguard against potential vulnerabilities.Collaborate with various teams on projects, propose solutions, and address technical issues.Define performance standards for middleware systems and continuously monitor their performance to ensure they meet established benchmarks.Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance.Monitor the functioning of equipment to ensure systems operate in conformance with specifications.Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.Required skills and qualifications include:Version Control Systems: Atlassian Bitbucket, GitHubContainerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShiftApplication Servers: IBM WebSphere, Apache ToClientat, Red Hat JBoss EAPConfiguration Management & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Chef, Terraform, Puppet, AnsibleCloud Computing Platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Microsoft AzureBuild & Dependency Management: Jenkins, Maven, GradleStreaming Platform: Apache KafkaContinuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): AnsibleOperating Systems & Scripting: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Bash Shell Scripting, JavaScript, Python
