nThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer to join the Advanced E-7A Mechanical Systems Team in Tukwila, WA. This position will be primarily responsible for the overall Mechanical Systems Design of the Advanced E-7 with a specific focus on liquid cooling system design. This position will be 100% onsite.

Leads the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid system, and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design.

Leads the development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.

Perform and document analyses to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

Leads supplier development, test, and production activities, providing direction to suppliers to optimize integration and achieve program goals.

Leads system component design/proposal standards to provide installation and detail documentation.

Trains and Coaches Others.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)

9+ years of related work experience

Experience managing projects

Active U.S. Secret Clearance

7+ years of related work experience with Masters

Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills

Familiarity with FAA and Military Certification
