KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the mechanical design and development of aerospace components and systems from concept through production n
- Collaborate with systems engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with aerospace standards n
- Develop and review detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and design documentation n
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses to ensure robust and reliable designs n
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the mechanical design team n
- Engage with customers and suppliers to align design requirements and resolve technical challenges n
YOU MUST HAVE
n- n
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field n
- Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering within aerospace or related industries, focusing on complex component and system design n
- Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS APDL or ANSYS Workbench n
- Proficiency in 1D Beam based FEA technique n
- Proficiency in Rotor Dynamics & Shafting Structural Analyses n
- Ability to lead design reviews, conduct risk assessments, and mentor engineering teams effectively n
- Proven leadership experience in managing mechanical design projects in aerospace environments n

- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and aerospace certification processes n
- Knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and design standards such as AS9100 and MIL-STD n
- Experience with design for manufacturability, tolerance analysis, and mechanical testing methodologies n
