Lead Mammography Technologist – RAYUS Radiology

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team. This full‑time position involves working in mammography, X‑ray, and DEXA Monday‑Friday with various 8‑hour shifts ranging from 7:30 am‑5:00 pm (no call). The role offers a pay range of $30.00‑$50.06, a $5,000 relocation or sign‑on bonus, and the option to work part‑time (30‑39 hours) in a 0.8 or 0.9 status (benefit eligible).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patient mammography imaging (80‑85%) – screen patients before exam, explain procedures, position patients, perform routine and advanced imaging, adjust scan parameters, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Team supervision (10‑15%) – assist in hiring and onboarding, lead regular team meetings and one‑on‑ones, monitor timecards, conduct performance reviews, create schedules, evaluate workflow, and support associates to maintain high patient satisfaction.
• Other tasks – complete additional duties as assigned (approximately 5%).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Minimum 4 years of imaging experience with proven ability to mentor and improve processes.
• Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of radiography and, if applicable, licensed radiological technologist in the appropriate state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Training and experience sufficient to perform advanced mammography procedures independently with highest quality.
• Certification in an imaging specialty.
• Continuing CEU’s in modality required by MQSA or state regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual.
• Experience in multiple modalities and/or multi‑modality certifications.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
