Job Schedule:
- 5x8-Hour Shifts (Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Plus every 4th Saturday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

As a senior imaging professional, you will manage comprehensive patient care, act as a vital clinical resource, coordinate daily department operations, and ensure all workflows meet the highest quality diagnostic and compliance benchmarks of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Excellence: Perform high-quality mammography radiographic examinations, accurately prepare patients, maintain strict compliance with radiation safety protocols, and execute precise positioning for optimal technical imaging quality.
- Operational Leadership: Efficiently organize shift work schedules, manage daily personnel assignments, optimize patient flow, and assist physicians and radiologists with prioritizing diagnostic workloads.
- Staff Development & Mentorship: Act as an onsite mentor, technical coach, and preceptor to less experienced technologist staff. Provide structured input for annual performance reviews, corrective actions, and ongoing department educational needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure shift-to-shift equipment maintenance routines and proper medical supply stocking. Perform daily QA checks on imaging equipment and assist leadership with initial and renewal applications for ACR accreditation .
- Patient & Customer Relations: Act as a core professional liaison between clinical staff, medical personnel, patients, and families. Proactively address and resolve complex patient care concerns or service complaints.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited professional school of Radiologic Technology.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Active license issued by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) .
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the ARRT (ARRT-R ).
- Registered Mammography Technologist by the ARRT (ARRT-M ).
- Active certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS ).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct, hands-on imaging technologist experience within an acute care hospital system or structured ambulatory outpatient setting.
- Core Skills: Exceptional diagnostic and technical capabilities, physical ability to safely maneuver patients, and a proven track record of handling leadership responsibilities in standard department operations.
