Lead Mammography Technologist - Outpatient Imaging
Location: Houston, TX 77338
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time, Days

• Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Every 4th Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Relocation Assistance Available (up to $10,000)
Job Summary
The Lead Mammography Technologist serves in both a clinical expert and leadership role, overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care within the imaging department. This position is responsible for coordinating daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, while performing advanced mammography procedures.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and act as a subject matter expert in mammography services
• Perform and oversee diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on quality and patient safety
• Coordinate workflow and resources to ensure efficient department operations
• Support and mentor staff while promoting accountability and high standards of care
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support clinical decision-making
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting standards are met

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in an acute care or ambulatory imaging setting

Licenses & Certifications (Required)

• MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) - Texas Medical Board
• ARRT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT(M) - Registered Mammography Technologist
• BLS or ACLS certification (Basic or Advanced Life Support)
