Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and act as a subject matter expert in mammography services
- Perform and oversee diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on quality and patient safety
- Coordinate workflow and resources to ensure efficient department operations
- Support and mentor staff while promoting accountability and high standards of care
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support clinical decision-making
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting standards are met
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an acute care or ambulatory imaging setting
- MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) - Texas Medical Board
- ARRT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT(M) - Registered Mammography Technologist
- BLS or ACLS certification (Basic or Advanced Life Support)
- Strong leadership and team coordination experience
- High level of technical competency in imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage workflow and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
