Lead Machine Operator

Shift LeadThe Shift Lead is responsible for operating and overseeing pouch-making equipment. This role includes directing and supporting pouch-making operators, monitoring production, and making necessary machine adjustments to ensure product quality. You will perform required quality checks, follow the production schedule, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Strong communication with your team and between shifts is essential.Multiple shifts available with generous shift differentials.This is a safety-sensitive position.Responsibilities include operating pouch-making machines, supporting setup activities alongside Senior Leads, making minor machine adjustments to maintain product quality, working closely with quality testers to ensure standards are met, assisting with product changeovers and providing coverage for breaks/lunches, completing required quality checks and documentation, reporting any food safety, quality, or compliance concerns, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.Qualifications include strong attention to detail, a quality-focused and organized mindset, a willingness to learn and work as part of a team, good communication skills, basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and previous experience operating or setting up production machinery preferred.Benefits include a generous shift differential, medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, and more, 401(k) with 3% match + 0.5% up to 5%, 1 week of vacation issued every 6 months based on hire date, and a sign-on bonus program – up to $1,000.Additional information includes tools provided and training provided.Equal Opportunity Employer.
