In this role, you will be responsible for machine setup, interpreting complex blueprints, and leading production teams to ensure the accurate and efficient fabrication of high-quality metal parts. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced metal service environment and is committed to production excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation & Setup: Perform precise setups on laser cutting machines to meet production specifications.Blueprint Interpretation: Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and technical schematics to ensure accurate metal cutting and part fabrication.Leadership & Guidance: Supervise and provide technical guidance to production team members to maintain high quality and safety standards.Quality Control: Inspect finished products against quality standards, troubleshooting machine issues as needed to minimize downtime.Process Optimization: Monitor workflow to maximize material utilization and production throughput while maintaining a safe work environment.Job Requirements:Experience: Proven, direct experience operating industrial laser cutting equipment in a metal service center or similar manufacturing environment.Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerances.Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate a team.Technical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with machine diagnostics and setup.Reliability: Commitment to maintaining daily shift schedules and operational productivity.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $32.00
