We are currently seeking a Fulltime Admissions Supervisor to join our team. The Admissions Supervisor provides supervisory oversight to the Admissions Department. The Admissions Supervisor assigns responsibilities to assure the orderly admission of patients to the hospital and is required to maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff. The Admissions Supervisor is responsible for daily census reconciliation, insurance verification, as well as the accurate daily tracking of admissions, discharges, and transfers in the hospital computer system.
The Admissions Supervisor also serves as telephonic back up to the Needs Assessment Department by scheduling assessment appointments and fielding referrals from other facilities during high call volume times.
