Lead Instrumentation EngineerWe are looking for an experienced Lead Instrumentation Engineer in Aurora, OH. This role would include working with customers and automation teams to implement turnkey solutions around process instrumentation.ResponsibilitiesServes as Lead Engineer on project work for clients and is responsible for gathering and analyzing technical data used to furnish a design package of instruments to fulfill scope of work requirements that include, generating instrument lists, I/O lists, specifications, procurement submittals, operation & maintenance documents, training, and related design documents.Specifying, procuring, and calibrating instruments (i.e. flow, level, temperature, analytical, pressure, etc.).Perform as lead instrumentation engineer interfacing with customers.Maintain effective communication with project team members, other departments, suppliers, and clients.Perform basic field commissioning and start-up of process control systems as they relate to instrumentation.Direct and check the work of designers and engineers ensuring all standards are met.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor of Science Degree in related engineering field (preferable electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering).Three plus (3+) years of experience with specifying, procuring, and calibrating instrumentsKnowledge of all facets of process instrumentationExperience with PLC programs and operator interface softwareExperience with P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring schematic diagrams, panel layout and detail drawingsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel)Preferred Qualifications:Familiar with Autodesk CAD softwareFive plus (5+) years of experiencePLC configuration knowledge is a plusCompensation & Benefits HighlightsCompetitive Base Salary: $95,000–$140,000, depending on experiencePerformance Bonuses: Bonus structure designed to reward resultsTravel Perks: Travel incentives + per-diem packages for field assignmentsFull Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement Ready: 401(k) with company matchTime Off: Generous PTO which includes vacation, holidays, and unlimited personal timeGrow With Us: Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development support
