ETW Energy is seeking an experienced Solar Lead Installer with a track record of consistent, predictable results and continual improvement in the safety, efficiency, and quality of solar installations.
As a contributing member of the crew, you’ll work with the Foreman and Installers to complete residential projects and provide safety-first leadership and direction at the job site.
What you’ll do
- Establish and maintain a safety-first job site with proper processes, PPE, and crew safety training
- Keep an orderly, clean, customer-focused job site; leave it better than you found it
- Lay out and assemble materials, mounts, electrical, and tools for an efficient installation
- Follow designated processes to complete installs on time with high accuracy and quality
- Properly weather-seal mounting and connections to prevent water intrusion
- Lead and train site safety so effective, efficient, safe installs happen 100% of the time
- Assist the Foreman with duties as assigned, and attend training as required
What you bring
- High-school education or equivalent
- Previous solar or construction experience preferred, but not required
- A safety advocate who sets standards and reports violations
- Proven ability to drive stable, consistent, predictable results
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple projects to deadline
- A clear communicator who can influence partners across the organization
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (this role requires driving; under 10% travel)
- Able to lift 50 lbs frequently (up to 100 lbs with assistance) and work on rooftops of varying pitch in all weather conditions
