Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Azure Terraform)

Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end infrastructure and cloud migration programs, including data center exit, lift and shift, and phased modernization to Azure.
- Own program governance covering scope, timelines, cost, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate migration of applications, databases, and middleware from on‑prem environments to Azure (VMs, Azure SQL, AKS, storage, networking).
- Drive collaboration across cloud, security, network, application, DB, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless migration and cutover.
- Oversee disaster recovery strategy, resiliency testing, security controls, and compliance as part of migration programs.
- Ensure adherence to DevOps CI/CD practices, automation, and Azure governance standards during execution.
- Manage vendors and partners, track milestones, and provide executive‑level reporting and risk mitigation plans.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Program/Project Management of large‑scale initiatives.
- Proven experience leading data center exit and lift‑and‑shift migrations from on‑prem to Azure.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, identity, security, AKS).
- Experience with application migration patterns, re‑platforming, and cloud readiness assessments.
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling, automation, and Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform or ARM preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders.
