To support cybersecurity governance, the full-time remote Lead Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will oversee compliance, documentation accuracy, and continuous monitoring for DoS systems while leading a team in maintaining FISMA and NIST requirements. Key responsibilities Serves as senior technical authority for ISSO functions and leads system-level cybersecurity governance tasks Ensures accuracy of security documentation, including SSPs and monitoring metrics Provides escalation support to ISSOs for complex control interpretations and oversees routine cybersecurity governance functions Required qualifications 8+ years of experience as an ISSO or security analyst Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800 53, and POA&M processes Experience with governance tools such as Archer or CSAM CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification is required A minimum Secret security clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
