Supporting threat hunting and investigation efforts, the remote Lead Information Security Engineer will utilize advanced analytic platforms and AI-enabled tools to identify and mitigate evolving malicious activities while collaborating with a skilled team of security researchers and engineers. Key responsibilities Research and analyze attacker tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to enhance automated detection methods Collaborate with cyber operators and senior researchers on investigations into cyber threat activities and provide mitigation guidance Automate investigations using Python scripting and data visualization tools, while building relationships with internal and external intelligence teams Required qualifications Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly Experience in cyber threat hunting, security investigations, or analysis of suspicious activities using structured data sets Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with large-scale data analysis concepts Knowledge of network-based threats and ability to identify suspicious behaviors from network telemetry Experience with OSINT methods for investigation, including discovering novel threats in malware repositories
