Working remotely, the full-time Lead Information Security Engineer will respond to and mitigate cybersecurity threats, proactively identify risks, and strengthen defenses while collaborating with internal teams to enhance security capabilities. Key responsibilities Respond to, remediate, and document information security incidents, including alerts and tickets Actively hunt for insecure, suspicious, or malicious activity within the enterprise Provide feedback for the development of automated threat detection mechanisms and maintain response guides Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Strong understanding of security fundamentals, including host/network hardening and risk management Relevant certifications (or willingness to obtain), such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) U.S.-based and able to obtain government suitability
