Lead Residential HVAC Installer | $33–$39/hr + Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Mechollage is a veteran-owned HVAC company that has served Virginia Beach and the Peninsula since 2009. We're growing our installation team and looking for an experienced Lead Residential HVAC Installer who can run installations independently, guide helpers, and make sure each system is installed correctly from start to finish.

If you have strong residential replacement experience and are ready to take ownership of your jobs, this is an opportunity to step into a lead role with an established company.

Your Role

As a Lead Installer, you'll be responsible for managing residential HVAC installation projects in the field. You'll work hands-on while directing helpers and keeping each job on track.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Installing residential HVAC replacement systems, including split systems and related equipment
• Performing ductwork and equipment installation as needed
• Managing the installation process from equipment setup through startup
• Leading and directing helpers or junior installers on the job
• Completing system startup, testing, and commissioning
• Verifying installations meet applicable codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
• Keeping the job site clean, organized, and safe
• Communicating professionally with customers and the installation team

Pay

• $33–$39 per hour
• Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates
• Overtime available during peak seasons

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who can confidently take the lead on residential HVAC installations.

• 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Able to independently complete residential installation projects
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Dependable and professional
• Safety-conscious and comfortable leading others in the field

Schedule

Monday–Friday

with occasional overtime during busy seasons.
