If you take pride in a clean install and like leading rather than following, this is a chance to run your own two-person crew for a growing residential HVAC company. You'll get variety in your day — full system replacements about half the time, single-equipment swaps the other half — plus the autonomy of building your own fittings on the truck instead of waiting on a shop.

THE BASICS

Location: Oronoco, MN
Pay: $30–$50/hour, depending on experience and ability
Schedule: 40–50 hours/week; occasional Saturday (roughly 6x/year for emergency installs)
On-Call: Not applicable for this role
Reports To: Owner/Service Manager

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead a two-person install crew (you + one helper) on residential HVAC installations
• Install furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, mini splits, and high-efficiency inverter systems
• Complete full system replacements (~50% of jobs) and single-equipment installs (~50% of jobs)
• Fabricate custom sheet metal fittings on the truck rather than ordering from a shop
• Occasionally support new construction installs (a handful of homes per year)
• Collect payment on completed installs
• Prep vehicle and materials at the shop each morning and return it at day's end

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• EPA certification
• 2–4 years of HVAC installation experience
• Own standard hand tools, including a tape measure on day one

• Comfort offering add-on services (e.g., duct cleaning) — not a sales requirement, just a bonus if it comes up
