Responsibilities
The primary duties of an HVAC Install Lead include overseeing the installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities encompass managing the installation process, ensuring all systems meet specifications, troubleshooting issues during installation, conducting safety and performance tests, inspecting for hazards such as carbon monoxide or gas leaks, and providing clear, detailed information to homeowners about the installation process. The role also requires daily management of technical aspects, coordinating team efforts, maintaining truck inventory, and ensuring installations are completed efficiently and code‑compliant. Strong communication with homeowners throughout the project is essential.
