Lead Group Underwriter

As a Lead Group Underwriter on the Specialty Health team, the full-time remote position will underwrite new and existing business for Supplemental Health products, assess risk, develop pricing recommendations, and support profitable growth through sound underwriting decisions. Key responsibilities Underwrite new business, renewals, and amendments for Supplemental Health products Manage an assigned in-force book of business and assess risk by evaluating various underwriting factors Collaborate with internal teams to prepare underwriting analyses, pricing recommendations, and support the RFP process Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of degree) 5+ years of Supplemental Health underwriting experience Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience in experience rating and renewal underwriting is a plus
