Provide expert genetic counseling services to patients and families.
Oversee and mentor other genetic counselors.
Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
Develop and implement protocols and procedures for the clinical enterprise.
Requirements
Master’s degree in genetic counseling or a closely related field such as biology, biochemistry, genetics, or psychology.
Certified Genetic Counselor through the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
Valid driver’s license.
Five (5) years as a Genetic Counselor or relevant experience.
Three (3) years leadership/administrative experience in a leadership role supervising others, leading quality improvement initiatives, developing educational programs.
