Lead Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack EngineerWe are looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Python, AWS serverless technologies, and modern web application development. The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications and APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience with AI-powered solutions and Generative AI technologies is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesExperience serving as a Technical Lead or Team Lead, providing technical direction, mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, coordinating sprint activities, and ensuring successful delivery of software projects. Document technical designs, APIs, and implementation details.Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and modern web technologies.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.Build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.Design and optimize relational databases, with strong experience in PostgreSQL.Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following engineering best practices.Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.Develop comprehensive unit tests and participate in integration and regression testing.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and engineering practices.Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems to automate application deployments.Monitor application performance and implement improvements for scalability, reliability, and security.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of software development experience.Strong programming experience in Python.Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.Hands-on experience with AWS services, including: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, EventBridge.Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.Experience with SQL query optimization and database design.Experience with Git and modern source control practices.Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.Experience writing unit tests using frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.Knowledge of software design patterns and object-oriented programming.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience building AI-powered chatbots, intelligent automation, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions is a plus.Technical SkillsProgramming: Python, JavaScript/TypeScriptCloud: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudWatchDatabases: PostgreSQL, SQLBackend: REST APIs, MicroservicesFrontend: React, Angular, or Vue.jsTesting: PyTest, unittest, Integration TestingDevOps: Git, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SDLCWhat We're Looking ForStrong ownership mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality software.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.Continuous learner with an interest in emerging cloud and AI technologies.
